On the final Sunday of our 2025 festival, we witnessed one of the most stunning performances our venerable Risør Church has ever seen. Benjamin gave an astonishing solo performance of Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition. The applause erupted into cheers and went on and on.

Long after the applause had died down and the festival was over, emails kept coming in for weeks, telling us how incredible the experience had been. Tine got the message, and that is why Benjamin is back this year.

The British child prodigy is now at the forefront of today’s “golden generation”, with a warmth and humility that almost match Tine’s. Benjamin belongs in Risør: we want the finest musicians and the nicest people here with us.
