About the Artist
There are benchmarks you simply don’t argue with. When you become a permanent singer in the Norwegian Soloists’ Choir at the age of 23, there is something truly special about the voice, but also about the communicator. The eye of the needle for joining one of Europe’s most celebrated choirs is razor-thin.
And sure, you could say it’s a bit of cheating to have a mother who sang in Nidaros Cathedral’s oratorio choir, a father who is a musician, and brothers who played classical music. But you still have to roll up your sleeves and do the work yourself. She has done exactly that, and that’s why we invite her with the greatest ease and joy.
Frøydis is one of the soloists who makes the big Festival Choir concert at Frydendal Church one of the highlights of the year.
