How incredible is it to make the voice do what Kajsa does when she yoiks? It’s truly something unique, something even opera singers have no prerequisites to pull off. And when you also have a musical mind like Kajsa’s, she’s exactly who we wanted for Stangholmen.

A crucial part of yoik is the storytelling aspect, which also requires an ability to range from the delicate to the explosive. We’re unbelievably excited to fill the air of Risør with Kajsa’s voice, with a full orchestra at her back.
