Lovise Wilkensen

We are delighted to welcome a great talent, Lovise just 17 years old, from our collaboration with Ung Klassisk, to the festival for the first time.
About the Artist
Lovise began piano lessons at the age of 8 and violin lessons at the age of 9 at Kristiansand kulturskole. In 2019, she was admitted to the talent development programme TUP, where she received tuition from Adam Grüchot and Helge Kjekshus.
Since 2023, she has participated in Nasjonalt klavertiltak, a national talent programme for young classical pianists. She has been a finalist several times in Ungdommens Musikkmesterskap (UMM) and Ung Klassisk, and in 2026 she won first prize in her category in Ung Klassisk, as well as the opportunity to perform at Risør Chamber Music Festival.
She performed in Risør during Kulturnatt 2026, and has also played at a number of concerts and events for the Minister of Culture and the Mayor of Kristiansand.
