Normally he is the conductor of the Risør Motet Choir. He is also an organist, and if you live in Risør, or Agder for that matter, you’d have to have been living under a rock not to know how important Tor Morten is to the local cultural life.

It’s no small task to keep international soloist stars, professional and amateur choral singers, and an orchestra in order. You can’t just give that job to anyone. At least not if you want the quality we’re aiming for in Risør.

The Festival Choir has been in safe hands all along, and thanks to Tor Morten’s clear vision and steady hand, the annual concert at Frydendal Church is now one of the year’s great musical highlights. You don’t have to travel far to find quality.
