Seasons in the Main Square

One of classical music’s absolute superhits brings the concert to a close, and the build-up to the climax is filled with the loveliest seasons, from the cold north to the hot south.

About the concert

Imagine sitting in the blazing sun, with food straight from the kitchen, watching the artists dazzle their way through Vivaldi’s Summer from The Four Seasons. What an ending to the concert.

But do not forget the lead-up ...

French spring, Russian summer, and passionate Argentine winter. You have certainly never heard this combination of works before, at least not against better scenery than right in the middle of the square.

Food and drink during the concert

One of the secrets of Risør Chamber Music Festival since it began in 1991 is that we have always taken care of the artists when it comes to food. Fresh lunch and dinner every single day, prepared by our friends at Eirik & Pedro, is a little luxury that not many other festivals offer.

During the concert you will get the same quality as the artists, and the menu is as follows:

  • A Caesar salad made from fresh ingredients in its own lunch box straight from the kitchen. Eat it during the concert, or save it for afterwards.
  • A box of drinks from Kolonihagen, which is known for ecological and sustainable food production.

If you are still hungry, the waffle and coffee tent is of course open.
